Production Coordinator

The Brand |

Our client is an Australian superior quality fabric and custom- made garment supplier with a strong focus on school wear, sportswear and corporate wear. They are a fast growing business managing some of the largest suppliers to schools nationwide with a collaborative and cohesive team working across four local and overseas locations, with a focus on quality, efficiency, competitive pricing and impeccable customer service standards.

The Role |

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Receive samples and orders from sales

  • Confirm delivery dates

  • Monitor order status, from sampling to final dispatch.

  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories).

    Factory Coordination

  • Liaise with overseas offices and garment factories (China and Vietnam).

  • Track material with fabric import coordinator

  • Ensure orders are aligned with quality and timeline expectations.

    Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain production status reports daily via Excel spreadsheets

  • Prepare and track purchase orders, delivery notes, and shipment schedules.

  • Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress).

    Quality Control Support

  • Coordinate with QA  final inspections.

  • Follow up on rectifications if any quality issues arise.

    Problem Solving

  • Resolve production delays, material shortages, or technical issues quickly.

  • Escalate concerns to higher management when needed.

    Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact between design, sampling, production, and logistics.

The Skillset |

  • Vietnamese speaking highly desirable

  • Strong organisational & time management skills

  • Knowledge of garment construction & production processes

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

  • Excellent communication & coordination abilities

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
