The Brand |
Our client is an Australian Wellness Group with HQ’s across the major Australian cities. With a portfolio of brands across beauty, wellness and retreats we have a unique role for a Multimedia Designer to join the team in their Sydney HQ – working across multiple brands to deliver visually engaging content that encompasses graphics, animations, video, audio and interactive media.
The Role |
This role combines creativity and technology – driving interactive media to ensure they stay at the forefront of content for their house of brands, across all platforms. This role will bring diversity and breadth of work!
Content creation: Design and develop multimedia assets, including graphics, animations, videos, and interactive presentations for the brand's website, social media, and digital advertising.
Storyboarding & concept development: Create mock-ups and storyboards to visualise concepts before production.
Video Production & Editing: Film content and edit into premium videos for web, social and paid ads, including promotional and training materials.
Traditional design: Create print-ready designs that align with brand identity and product requirements.
Packaging design (preferred): Experience in creating innovative packaging concepts that align with brand identity and product requirements is highly regarded but not essential.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, copywriters, and other stakeholders to align designs with brand strategy. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager.
Optimisation: Ensure designs are responsive and optimised for various platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.).
Feedback & revisions: Incorporate stakeholder feedback and update designs promptly.
Trend awareness: Stay current with design trends and emerging design technologies.
The Skillset |
Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma.
Animation & video: Strong skills in motion graphics and video editing.
Web development basics: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is often a plus, but not necessary.
UX/UI understanding: Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
Communication & collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Time management: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or related field.
Portfolio showcasing diverse multimedia projects.
Experience with video production, animation, web design, traditional design and interactive content creation.
