The Role |
The Talent Mill have partnered with an exceptionally renowned lifestyle brand in Sydney who are seeking a commercially driven and forward-thinking Head of Digital to lead and elevate the end-to-end digital ecosystem.
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping digital strategy, driving online performance, and delivering a seamless, customer-first experience across all touchpoints.
You will bring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a deep understanding of digital growth levers and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, brand-led environment.
Key Areas of focus -
Digital Strategy & Leadership:
Define and execute a holistic digital strategy aligned with broader business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary digital team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Buying, and Retail to ensure alignment across all channels.
Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities to future-proof the digital landscape.
eCommerce:
Own and optimise the eCommerce platform, ensuring best-in-class user experience and conversion.
Drive online revenue growth through performance optimisation, site merchandising, and customer journey enhancements.
Oversee product launches, online exclusives, and digital storytelling to reflect brand positioning.
Partner with tech and external agencies to deliver site improvements and innovations.
CRM & Customer Experience
Lead CRM strategy across lifecycle marketing, retention, and customer engagement.
Leverage customer data and insights to personalise communications and drive loyalty.
Oversee email, SMS, and loyalty programs, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
Champion a customer-first mindset across all digital touchpoints.
Trading & Performance:
Own digital trading calendars, aligning campaigns, product drops, and promotional activity.
Analyse and report on key metrics including traffic, conversion, AOV, and customer acquisition/retention.
Drive performance through continuous testing, optimisation, and data-led decision making.
Work closely with merchandising and planning teams to maximise online trading opportunities.
The Skillset I
Proven experience in a senior digital leadership role within fashion, retail, or a consumer-led brand.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering online growth and performance.
Deep expertise across eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing channels.
A confident leader with the ability to influence stakeholders and build high-performing teams.
Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
