An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Assistant Manager to help launch their new Indooroopilly Flagship Store, opening this September.
The Role |
We are looking for the ideal team player, someone who leads by example in all that they do, who loves sport and fitness and can drive sales and strives to be better each day. You will have the opportunity to lead the team and work collaboratively with your manager in running day to day operations and business functions including:
Sales - the ability to drive sales growth, meet targets and optimize store performance
Rostering - managing rosters considering store performance and wage spend
VM - understanding of visual merchandising principles to create appealing and on-brand store displays, taking pride in how your store is presented
Leadership - strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail team
Customer service - commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience and familiarity with sales techniques
Coaching - experience in recruiting, training, and developing team members with the ability to provide constructive feedback and foster a positive culture
Community - excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with community partners
Passion - team leader with a positive attitude who is passionate about and represents the values of the brand
The Skillset |
You will have previous Assistant Management or Supervisor experience and be able to demonstrate the following:
Be a strong team player, fostering unity and co-operation
Decision-making abilities, considering both short-term and long-term implications for the team and organisation
Clear and effective communication to various stakeholders
Effective organisational and time management skills, prioritising tasks to achieve goals
Embracing and respecting diversity within the team and customers
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting customer relationships
Enthusiasm for the sport and fitness industry
Attention to detail and maintaining cleanliness of store and visual merchandising standards
Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday roster.
