As Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting a high-profile outlet store while developing your leadership skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role |
As Assistant Store Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the Rockhampton Outlet store while helping to drive sales performance, team engagement and exceptional customer experiences.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead from the front, coach your team and confidently manage the store in the Store Manager's absence. With both leadership positions currently being recruited, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at an exciting time and help shape the future success of the store.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing retail team
Driving sales performance and achieving store budgets and KPIs
Delivering exceptional customer experiences that create lasting customer connections
Leading the store confidently in the Store Manager's absence
Coaching and supporting team members through regular feedback and development
Executing visual merchandising standards and maintaining excellent store presentation
Managing high-volume stock processing and daily operational priorities
Supporting day-to-day store operations and ensuring operational excellence
Leading by example and creating a positive, customer-first team culture

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded retail leader who enjoys being hands-on, developing people and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Assistant Store Manager or an ambitious Supervisor or Keyholder ready to take the next step into leadership within a nationally recognised retail business.
You will bring:
Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or Keyholder within a fast-paced retail environment
Confidence leading a team and managing the store independently when required
A proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve KPIs
Strong communication skills with the confidence to coach and support team members
A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment
Experience across stock management, visual merchandising and daily store operations
A genuine passion for customer service and retail leadership
The confidence and willingness to continue learning and growing as a leader
